OSPOA Scholarship Program

Each year the OSPOA awards up to five, five-hundred dollar ($500) scholarships. Recipients of the scholarships are announced each year at the annual training conference.

Membership in the OSPOA is not required; however, preference is given to students preparing to enter the law enforcement or criminal prosecution fields.

Applicants must complete a written application form and provide a certified copy of their high school transcript or, if already attending college, a certified copy of a current college transcript along with a handwritten essay describing their reason for choosing law enforcement as a career and explaining their involvement, if any, in law enforcement at the time of the application.

All information will be held in strict confidence.
