We are Oklahoma law enforcement and security personnel with a mission to promote high standards and mutual cooperation among all branches of our profession. OSPOA is comprised of law enforcement officials from city, county, state, tribal, and federal agencies, working together to promote the responsible enforcement of law and order through training and continuing education.

MESSAGE FROM THE OSPOA PRESIDENT​

The OSPOA has formed a partnership with American Income Life to provide a FREE $3,000 Accidental Death Benefit (Along with other No Cost benefits) to all current paid members of the OSPOA.

If you have not renewed your membership, the OSPOA encourages you to renew as soon as possible to take advantage of these no-cost benefits.

The OSPOA is open to everyone, whether you work in law enforcement or just want to support your local community.

To qualify as an Active Member, you must be:

  • an employee of a government criminal justice agency (active or retired).

  • a CLEET-certified law enforcement officer (full-time or reserve).

  • a CLEET-licensed armed or unarmed security guard or private investigator.

  • an employee or graduate of a vocational trade school in the criminal justice field.

If you do not meet the above criteria to become an Active Member, but still wish to support law enforcement and the OSPOA, you may join as an Associate Member.

To apply, complete the OSPOA membership form. All memberships expire each year on December 31.

ANNUAL OSPOA EVENTS

Please join us at our next annual conference! Registration is open to both members and non-members.

At each conference, we will:

  • provide a variety of informative, engaging courses on relevant topics.

  • discuss which bills we support during the current legislative session.

  • showcase new, innovative law enforcement products at our Exhibition Show.

  • conduct association business, including the election of officers and board members.

  • conduct group meetings for various agencies.

  • celebrate outstanding law enforcement officers at the most well-known awards ceremony in the State of Oklahoma.

  • provide networking opportunities to promote fellowship and goodwill among agencies.
